Summer Nights

I took this picture one night last week when me and my boyfriend sat in his garden after tea and decided to light the fire. This picture was taken at about 9:30 and you can see how light it was. Being able to sit out in jeans and a tshirt (and my little primark pumps that you can see) made me decide that summer is definitely my favourite season. I want another night like this, sitting with a cold pimms and lemonade!

Holidays

I have been searching this morning for a summer holiday for next month and whenever I do this I get too excited and look at my old pictures from holidays I've been on and little weekend breaks. I've just searched through my London pictures from last February. My boyfriend took me for my Christmas present and I haven't been since. I am actually craving Oxford street although I'm sure my bank balance is not. I couldn't resist posting these pictures as my mouth has been watering looking at them!
My boyfriend chose the chocolate cake and I chose the strawberry and cream. I literally don't think I want anything more, at this moment in time, than a piece of this. They were so nice but very costly, I'm sure they were £6 each?! totally worth it though.
I couldn't stomach trying this and we only found the cake shop on our last day so didn't have chance to go back :-( I think when I go again I will actually run to this shop.

These were ridiculously cute - love our capital city!!

Nails

I went and got my nails done on Thursday. These are 'gel nails,' and I really like them - I feel so much better when they're on. They used to be £22 and now the price has gone up to £28 at the salon I go to, which was really annoying. My mum treated me to these though. The strawberries in the background are my pyjama bottoms, how stylish - ha ha.

Good morning

Morning. It's 9:12 and this is very early for me, especially on a saturday. I'm up because I'm going to the gym and need to go into town. I hate getting up at this time and it makes it worse when my parents are hungover in bed after going to see the Kings of Leon last night. The weathers not very good, which is never motivation for crawling out of bed, but a cup of tea is sorting me out. I actually cannot function on a morning until I've had a cup of tea. Today I am drinking from my disneyland paris mug, which I got there in April this year.
It's pretty cute :-) Please ignore my strange hand in the last picture.

Outfit Post

Okay so I'm going to deem this as my first outfit post, even though as you can see it's pretty much just of my legs (and some mess in the background) My top is plain white, pretty boring so I thought I'd draw focus to the leggings. I bought these leggings from topshop last year, they were only £22. This outfit is been worn to go round to my boyfriends for a lazy, 'fat friday,' night in (TV + lots of food). I can wear them to be comfy (and eat lots of food) but I like that they still look like I've made an effort because of the pattern. Have a nice friday night xo

Outfit

As I mentioned it's my best friends birthday tomorrow so we are going for cocktails and to a nightclub tomorrow night. I'm thinking of wearing this outfit.

The dress was £30 from asos, which I bought a few weeks ago and haven't worn yet, typical. The wedges were £50 from topshop and I thought they were quite a good price.

I have got so much wear out of them already, they are definitely my favourite summer purchase! I should probably wear black shoes with this dress but I love them too much to leave them lonely in my wardrobe.

To show off the pattern of the dress I'm thinking of using my hair doughnut to put a big bun on the top of my head. My hair is really long so if I wear it down it will cover it.

Present Buying

It's my two best friends birthdays tomorrow (they're twins) and I went shopping for some last minute presents for them today. They've had a bit of a rough time lately and I wanted to do something a bit different to the usual clothes and jewellery we buy each other. Instead, I decided to buy a green estee lauder make up bag and fill it with all of their favourite nail varnishes, eyeshadows, lipsticks, mascara's etc. I really hope they like it - I am pretty happy with my idea! It's always hard buying for two and I like to buy presents I know people will use, instead of just buying for the sake of it. Everyone knows someone who always buys you a gift that ends up sitting on your shelf, never used, or passed on to a distant member of the family who you didn't really feel like buying for anyway. I do not want to be that person.
